Tyre checks on offer in Jersey safety project
Free tyre checks will take place in two car parks in St Helier as part of a government project.
The Government of Jersey said a tyre safety initiative would be held on Monday at Les Jardins Car Park and the Patriotic Car Park on Tuesday.
The scheme has been set up to analyse the condition of tyres in Jersey with experts on hand to offer advice and services to islanders, the government added.
It said no-one would be penalised for having worn tyres, but Driver and Vehicle Standards officers from the government would make recommendations if they deemed it necessary.
