Driver Shot At With Pellets In Deer Park Road Rage: Police
DEER PARK, NY — A male driver who shot at another car and threatened a person during a road rage incident in Deer Park on Thursday is currently being sought after by Suffolk County police.
At about 10:55 a.m., a man was driving to the intersection of Commack Road and Marcus Boulevard when he was shot by what appeared to be a BB gun or gel pellets, coming from a black Hyundai.
The man then exited his car to confront the individuals in the Hyundai.
A male driver exited the Hyundai, pointed a black hand gun at the man, and shot the passenger tires of the other vehicle, causing the tires to become flat, police said.
The man fled the area and contacted police. He did not need medical attention, police said.
